Hendrix College Athletics

Cliff Garrison was coach of the Warrior men’s basketball team from 1972 to 2003, having won 5 AIC championships. He was named AIC and SCAC Coach of the Year and served as physical education department chairman and Athletic Director until 2002. He was also a professor of kinesiology and chairman of Athletic Advancement for the Hendrix College Athletic Department. Garrison was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in February 2004. The competiton basketball court was named in his honor.
