Hendrix College Athletics

Earlene Hannah has contributed much to Hendrix College as a teacher, coach and an administrator of women’s athletic programs. She served for 25 years as a coach of women’s athletics in the AWISA, AIC and SCAC conferences. She coached tennis for 22 years and volleyball for 24 years. She was AWISA and NAIA tennis coach of the year in 1983 and was named AIC coach of the year three times. In 1992 she was named Senior Woman Administrator for the Hendrix Athletic Department and served as professor and Chair of the Kinesiology Department.
