John Thomas is one of the most decorated divers in the history of the Hendrix College Swim & Dive program.
He still holds the school record in three diving events -- the 11-dive 1-meter event, the 11-dive 3-meter event, and the 6-dive 3-meter competition -- all set in 1986.
Thomas won the 1985 and 1986 Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference championship in the 1-meter dive and the 3-meter dive, qualifying for the national meet in both years.
He set AIC records in 1985 in the 1-meter dive and the 3-meter dive, and in the 3-meter dive in 1986.
