Kathy Snell Tadlock (Class of 1962) (Meritorious Service) of Little Rock, Ark. graduated from Hendrix with a B.A. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Tadlock was a cheerleader for three years at Hendrix. She joined the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) in 1982 and began a 30-year career highlighted by her contributions to women’s interscholastic athletics in Arkansas and her outstanding work with the National Federation of State High Schools Association.

As associate executive director, Tadlock served as the staff liaison and rules interpreter for gymnastics, track & field, cross country, volleyball and spirit. She was also responsible for coaches education and was staff liaison to the Arkansas High School Athletic Administrators Association. In 2004 Tadlock received the Citation Award from the NFHS for her outstanding contributions to women’s athletics.
