Mark Calvin (Class of 1983) of Plumerville, Ark. was a four-year starter and key man on three AIC Championship basketball teams during a time when the Warriors were the most successful team in the AIC, winning 77 games and averaging 19 wins a year. As a 6-6 forward, Calvin scored 1,318 points (prior to implementation of the 3-point shot) ranking him 14th in scoring on the modern all-time list. His 516 rebounds remain among the top all-time rebounders.

Calvin was named All-AIC two years, honorable mention All-District 17 NAIA one year, and All-District 17 NAIA his senior year where he ranked in the top ten in the AIC in scoring and field goal percentage. He also played in the All-Arkansas Classic following his senior year.
