Hendrix College Athletics

Tom Welch (Meritorious Service) of Conway was a member of the Arkansas Swimming Hall of Fame, served the Hendrix athletic program for over 30 years in swimming and basketball.  He was the starter for over 250 swim meets including every AIC Championship, four National NAIA Championships, and one Senior Men’s National Meet.  He also served as a bench official in basketball keeping the clock or scorebook for the Warriors.
