Senior Elizabeth Krug, from Heber Springs, Ark., competed in nine events and had two firsts, two seconds, one third, three fourth places and one fifth at the Southern Athletic Association Championships. She was the high-point scorer of the meet with 50.75 points.

The four-time All-American won the 400 meter hurdles, tying the school record set in 2010 with a time of 1:05.75. Krug also won the javelin with a throw of 34.54 meters (113 ft.-4 in.).

She was second in the 200 meter finals in 25.48 seconds and second in the 400 meters in 57.91. Krug took fourth in Friday's long jump at 5.17 meters (16 ft.-11.5 in.) and tied for fourth by clearing 1.47 meters (4 ft.-9.75 in.) in the high jump. She also finished fifth with a shot put of 11.45 meters (37 ft.-6.75 in.).

Krug, junior Cassie Taucher and freshman Victoria Amadi and Tori Walters took third in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:08.61, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. Krug, Johnson, Amadi and Taucher set the school record in the 4x100 relay with a time of 49.79, placing fourth.
