Media Policies
Interviews
All interviews with Hendrix coaches, student-athletes and staff members must be arranged through the Sports Information Department. After games, matches, and other athletic events, locker rooms are generally off limits. Player and coach interviews, however, may be conducted outside locker rooms or on the playing surface after a minimal, 10-minute cooling off period.
Practices
Practice policies vary per sport, but are generally open to the media. Prior knowledge of attendance is appreciated.
Game Day Coverage
Any media member covering any contest hosted by Hendrix is asked to inform the Sports Information Department of their attendance. For football, you must contact the Sports Information Director for a press box or sideline pass. For other sports, press credentials are not provided. However, space at press row is very limited. For most sports, rosters, updated statistics and statistical information will be provided.
Technology
Wireless internet access is available at all athletic facilities.
Radio
Any visiting radio broadcasts must reserve their seating and phone lines at least one week in advance of the event.
Photographers
Hendrix Athletics requires that you obtain a sideline pass to shoot any athletic event held on campus. Passes and credentials can be obtained emailing the Sports Information Department. Photographers are asked to stay at least 10 feet from the playing surface and shoot from standard shooting positions. Flash photography is prohibited. Football photographers/videographers must have a pass for sideline access.
Game Day Performances
Any music needed for a performance at a Hendrix home athletics event must be sent directly to the Sports Information Director at least 72 hours before the event in a .MP3 file. No other music file types will be accepted.
