Freshman Jared Lincoln of Atlanta, Texas won the discus with a throw of 40.90 meters (134 ft.-2.5 in.) at the Southern Athletic Association Championships.He was also fourth in the shot at 13.66 meters (44 ft.-9.75 in.).
