Senior Elizabeth Krug capped her historic career by earning her fifth All-American award at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, placing third in the heptathlon.

Krug is only the third four-time All-American in the heptathlon in DIII history. Her total of 5,074 points was the seventh-best all-time.

Krug, of Heber Springs, Ark., tied her own school record in the 100 meter hurdles and broke the record in the 200 meters on Friday. On Saturday, she shattered another record in the javelin and set a new mark in the heptathlon as well.
