Sophomore Victoria Amadi opened the 2014-15 track & field season by placing third in the triple jump at the Arkansas State Kickoff Klassic on Sunday. The two-time All-American recorded a distance of 11.07 meters (36 ft-4 in.), finishing behind competitors from NCAA Division I schools Arkansas State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The distance was less than two feet from Amadi's, who hails from Denton, Texas, indoor school record.
