Senior right fielder Morgan Fires hit .444 (8-of-18) with three runs scored, eight RBI, a double and a home run over six games as the Warriors advanced to the finals of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament. The Bremerton, Wash. product helped the Warriors win four consecutive elimination games with at least one hit in each of the last five games of the tourney. Fires ha two hits, including a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Saturday's win over Sewanee. She went 3-for-3 with a triple and four batted in Sunday's 8-3 victory over #25 Birmingham-Southern. Fires also threw out two base runners from right field.
