Freshman Michael Spainhour broke the four-year school record in the 60 meter dash in 7.17 seconds at the Illinois College Jim Green Invitational on Saturday. The Greenbrier, Ark. native also scored in two events against heavy competition. He took seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.02 meters (19 ft.-9 in.) and was eighth in the triple jump at 12.57 meters (41 ft.-3 in.).
