Junior Shaquille Grant broke his own school record in the indoor long jump at the Principia Multis on Saturday. Grant, from Linden, Texas, had a leap of 6.45 meters (21 ft.-2 in.), breaking his old mark by nearly eight inches. He also placed second in the 60 meter dash in 7.22 seconds, just .01 seconds off the school record. Grant took third in the triple jump with a distance of 13.00 meters (42 ft.-8 in.), which broke the old school record, but was bested by teammate Michael Spainhour.
