Freshman infielder Jorge Leon led the Warriors at the plate by hitting .500 (6-of-12) with seven runs scored, three RBI and six walks as they went 3-1 on the week. In Tuesday's loss to Central Baptist, he recorded a hit and drew a pair of walks. Leon, from Mexico City, went 2-for-4 with two runs and a RBI in Saturday's 7-0 victory over North Park. He drew three walks and scored twice in the 8-6 win over the Vikings on Saturday. He wrapped up the sweep of NPU by going 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, three runs and a walk on Sunday. For the week, Leon had a .667 on-base percentage and .667 slugging percentage.
