Freshman Karli Sewell hit .538 (7-of-13) with four runs scored, seven RBI, two doubles and a stolen base as the Warriors went 5-0 at The Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. Sewell, from Castroville, Texas, recorded at least one hit in every game. She went 2-for-3 with a RBI and run scored scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over NCAA Division II opponent Saint Michael's. Sewell was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, four RBI, a double and a sacrifice fly in Wednesday's 9-1 victory over UW-Platteville. She finished the week with a two-run double in a 2-0 win against Benedictine (Ill.). Sewell had a .692 slugging and .533 on-base percentage. She also threw out both runners that tried to steal on her.
