Hendrix College Athletics

Junior center Jamie Tate averaged 13.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals per game for the Hendrix women's basketball team this week. In Tuesday's home loss to Ozarks (Ark.), the Nashville, Tenn. native scored 15 points and pulled down 14 boards to go with one steal. Tate set the Fred Raizk Memorial Tournament rebound record with 16 and had 14 points and two steals in Saturday's loss to Saint Vincent. She closed the weekend with 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in Sunday's loss to UC Clermont. Tate was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts.
