Junior forward Heather Prowse was named the Southern Athletic Association Tournament MVP, helping the Warriors to the SAA championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Prowse, from Mount Vernon, Ark., averaged 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game over the three contests. She had 13 points, five rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals in Friday's first round win over Berry. Prowse recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards with two assists in Saturday's semifinal victory against Millsaps. She capped the week with a season-high 20 points and nine boards in Sunday's win at regular season champ Birmingham-Southern. For the week, Prowse shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the field 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from the free throw line.
