Senior pitcher Harley Faye threw 7.2 scoreless innings in three appearances at the SAA Tournament in Memphis over the weekend. Faye, from Studio City, Calif., only allowed a walk and six hits to go with three strikeouts. In Friday's 8-4 win, he threw two scoreless innings, giving up just one hit with one K. On Saturday, Faye fanned two batters and allowed a hit in 1.2 innings against Rhodes. He then started and threw four scoreless frames, allowing four hits and a walk against Millsaps Saturday night. Faye held batters to a .200 batting average against.
