The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Cory McGonigal has been named SAA Defensive Football Player of the Week.

McGonigal is a sophomore defensive back from Little Rock, AR.

McGonigal broke the Hendrix school record for most interceptions in a game with three and crushed the record of interception yard returns with 136-yards. He also added six tackles in the win, Saturday.
