Atlanta, GA – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Kam Brasfield has been named the SAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Over the week, Brasfield averaged 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.7 steals while making 61.5 percent of his shots. 

Brasfield led Hendrix to a 2-1 record which included a 35-point, seven-rebound effort in an early conference win against defeating SAA champion Rhodes. The first-year Warrior also scored in double figures against Texas-Tyler and Dallas while making 55 percent of his attempts in those games.
