Sophomore right fielder Matt Simmons hit .375 (3-of-8) with three doubles and five RBI in Hendrix' two wins to open the 2013 season. The Bedford, Texas native drove in three runs on two doubles in the Warriors' 6-3 win against Willamette on Friday. On Saturday, Simmons doubled and drove in two in a 6-4 victory against East Texas Baptist.
