Junior second baseman Catelyn Gibbs hit .429 (6-of-14) with two runs scored, a double and five runs batted in as the Warriors went 2-2 in non-conference play during the week. At Ozarks (Ark.) on Tuesday, the Sachse, Texas native recorded three hits in a double-header and drove in three runs in a 16-5 win. Gibbs also laid down a sacrifice bunt, breaking the career school record with 26. On Sunday at Austin, she had three more hits and drove in two in the Warriors’ 5-3 victory over the ‘Roos.
