Senior pitcher Ashley Halbert went 4-0 with a 0.38 ERA and 14 strikeouts over 18.2 innings last week. The Crandall, Texas native’s was highlighted by a 43-pitch perfect game in a 12-0 win against Sewanee on Saturday. She started the week by earning both wins, including one in relief, at Centenary on Monday. She threw the perfect game against the Tigers on Saturday, then recorded a three-hit, four-strikeout shutout against Sewanee on Sunday. Halbert also hit .389 (7-of-18) with seven runs scored, two doubles and seven RBI.
