Junior Elizabeth Krug recorded the second best score in the NCAAA Division III in the heptathlon with a school record 4,733 points at the Ole Miss Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The three-time All-American from Heber Springs, Ark. placed fifth in the event, finishing behind competitors from Missouri and Ole Miss. Krug's highlights from the weekend included breaking her own school record in the high jump with a Southern Athletic Association leading 1.61 meters (5 ft.-3.25 in.). The jump was tied for fourth best on the day. She had the sixth best shot put at 11.15 meters (36 ft.-7 in.), a new personal record. That mark currently ranks third in the SAA.
