CONWAY, Ark. - Sophomore midfielder
Reilly Frazier scored with 4:02 left in the game to give the Hendrix College women's lacrosse team a 12-11 victory of the State University of New York at New Paltz at Warrior Field Tuesday afternoon.
The visiting Hawks (2-4) jumped out to a 3-1 lead over the first 13 minutes of the game, but the Warriors (5-4) tied it with a pair of
Bridget Umble goals, with both assists coming from
Morgan Dasch, at the 11:40 mark. New Paltz outscored Hendrix 3-2 in the final portion of the first period to take a 6-5 lead at halftime.
The Warriors started the second half with four straight goals - one by freshman
Jesse Clark and three more from Umble to go up 9-6 with 21:38 to play. Both teams exchanged two goals to give Hendrix an 11-8 advantage with 15:35 left. The Hawks scored the next three goals to tie the game 11-11 with 6:20 left.

Meghan Ayers assisted Frazier's game-winning goal. The Hawks managed one shot in the final four minutes, which freshman keeper
Alexis Truitt stopped. The Warriors maintained possession for most of the final minutes and ran out the clock.
New Paltz outshot Hendrix 23-19 overall and 19-16 on goal. The Warriors had a 21-18 lead in ground balls and 15-10 advantage in draw controls. The Orange & Black caused 10 turnovers.
Hendrix Notes- In the third year of the program, Hendrix has set a new wins record for a season with five.
- Truitt tied her season-best with eight saves and had three ground balls.
- Umble finished with five goals, two of which were free-position shots.
- Frazier recorded three goals and three ground balls.

Kaitlyn Smith had two goals and an assist and caused a pair of turnovers.

Raychl Reger had a goal, four draws and three caused turnovers.
- Dasch assisted two goals and now has 19 on the year. She also picked up four ground balls, a season-high.
- Clark came up with a goal and an assist.
- Pochron caused three turnovers and has 21 on the season. She is one off the school record for caused turnovers in a season.
New Paltz Notes- Nicole Gottschalk led the Hawks with four goals.
- Rachael Purtell had two goals, five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
- Amara Kutos also caused three turnovers.
- Alexa Criollo had two goals and an assist.
- Colleen Roemer recorded four saves.
