CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team easily defeated the University of Dallas 15-4 at Warrior Field Monday evening.
The Warriors (3-3) scored 1:03 into the game on a goal from senior midfielder
Raychl Reger. Ten seconds later, junior attacker
Bridget Umble found the cage on a pass from junior
Reilly Frazier to give Hendrix a 2-0 lead.
Lexi Leite scored for the Crusaders (1-7) at the 25:52 mark in the first, but the Warriors scored 11 straight goals to lead 13-1 at halftime.
Junior Katilyn Smith scored five minutes into the second half and sophomore
Morgan Dasch scored on a pass by senior
Gabryele Pochron to give the Warriors a 15-1 advantage. Dallas scored the final three goals of the game with under nine minutes left.
Hendrix recorded 15 goals, eight assists, 26 shots, 25 on goal, 18 ground balls, 17 draw controls, 16 turnovers and 15 caused turnovers while going 3-for-5 on clears. UD had four goals, nine shots, five on goal, 12 ground balls, four draws, 18 turnovers, nine caused turnovers and was 3-of-17 on clears.
