Hendrix' Season Ends at Transylvania

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team's season came to an end with a 23-12 loss at Transylvania University Sunday.

The Warriors (4-10) led 8-7 with 5:14 left in the first half before the Pioneers (10-2) scored four straight to take an 11-8 lead into the break. TU outscored Hendrix 12-4 in the second half.

For the game, the Warriors recorded 12 goals, three assists, 19 shots, 16 on goal, 18 ground balls, 12 draw controls, 18 turnovers and four caused turnovers and went 20-of-30 on clears. The Pioneers had 23 goals, five assists, 52 shots, 41 on goal, 29 ground balls, 24 draws, 13 turnovers and 11 caused turnovers while going 33-for-35 on clear attempts.

The game was the final for three Warrior seniors - Gabryele Pochron, Raychl Reger and Meghan Ayers.

Hendrix Notes
- Juniors Reilly Frazier and Shelby Hill each recorded three goals.
- Sophomore Morgan Dasch had a goal and two assists to break her own school season record with 61 points.
- Junior attacker Bridget Umble scored twice with an assist.
- Reger added a goal.
- Ayers recorded a goal, four ground balls and caused a turnover.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Alexis Truitt recorded a career-high 18 saves and broke the single season school record with 142 on the year.

Transylvania Notes
- Julia Ward had six goals, an assist, four ground balls and nine draw controls.
- Alexis Rubin also recorded six goals and an assist.
- Emma Oliver scored five times with an assist, three draws and three ground balls.
- Lindsey Jenkins also scored three times.
- Brianna McCulley had three goals, an assist and three caused turnovers.
- Harper Zeitz came up with six caused turnovers and ground balls.
