Sewanee, TN -Â The Hendrix men's lacrosse team was back in action Friday night as they competed in the Quarterfinals round of the SAA Conference Tournament. The Warriors entered the tournament as the six seed and took on the number three seeded Sewanee.
Hendrix jumped out to a quick lead (1-0) in the first five minutes of the contest. They added another goal shortly after the nine minute mark and held a 2-0 advantage.
At the end of the first quarter Hendrix led the Tigers 3-1.
In the second quarter Hendrix would add another early goal. Unfortunately, Sewanee would add four goals of their own and going into halftime would lead the Warriors by a score of 5-4.Â
 After the third quarter the Tigers held a 10-8 lead over Hendrix.
Garrett Brown would score another goal in the fourth quarter for the Warriors however, it would not be enough as they would ultimately fall 11-9 to Sewanee.
Taylor Noack made ten saves on the day for the Warriors.Â
