Birmingham, AL -Â The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team competed in the Quarterfinals round of the SAA Conference Tournament Friday evening, looking for a chance to advance. The Warriors bounced back in the second half after scoring six goals in the opening frame, but it wasn't enough as Hendrix ended their season with a 19-14 loss to Birmingham Southern.

Morgan Dasch netted the goals for Hendrix in the opening half, as the Warriors went into the locker room down 11-6.
Momentum quickly shifted in the Warriors favor after the break, as Reilly Fraizer earned her first goal and Dasch earned her third goal to make it 13-8 less than eight minutes into the half.
The Warriors would get another goal from the stick of
Kaitlyn Smith to make it a four goal game. Umble would score again three minutes later with her fifth of the contest to make it a three-goal game. After
Maddie Lancaster made it 13-11, BSC again extended the Panther lead to 14-11 with a goal at the 18:04 mark.
Unfortunately for Hendrix, Birmingham Southern now had earned the momentum back and would take the SAA Quarterfinals 19-14.
Dasch had a monster afternoon for the Warriors, scoring six goals and grabbing two ground balls.
Alison Watanabe also had a good afternoon, assisting on three goals while getting one ground ball.

Shelby Hill finished with a team best six draw controls, and junior
Alexis Truitt made eight saves for the Warriors in net.
