PINEVILLE, La. - Hendrix enjoyed a three-run lead in the first game Monday but the Wildcats of Louisiana College fought back as LC defeated Hendrix 16-11 in an offensive showdown. The Warriors struck for the first seven games in game two before LC recorded eight runs total in the final three innings and a double with two outs in the seventh trailing by a run allowed for a 9-8 victory by the home team. Hendrix falls to 10-7 on the regular season but still sustains a 3-0 mark in Southern Athletic Association play with a pivotal conferences series at home around the corner.

NOTABLE:
GAME 1
- Hendrix carved up a pair of home runs in the opening frame; a two-run shot by Sewell followed up with a solo shot by Reames two batters later as Hendrix took a 3-0 early lead.
- After LC managed three runs in the first as well, Oglesby scored in the second but another three-run inning allowed for a 6-3 lead by the Wildcats after two frames.
- A three-run fifth inning and five-run sixth allowed Louisiana College to hold a 16-10 edge after six innings.
- A lead-off double by Oglesby in the seventh gave Hendrix life. Oglesby stole third base before scoring on a throwing error but LC ended the game on recording a double play for the 16-11 win.
- Reames picked up the lone three-hit performance while recording an RBI and a run while Hunt, Mortan and Oglesby tallied multi-hit games and combined for four RBIs in the loss.
- Stockalper tossed 94 pitches in four and one-third innings of action; striking out one while picking up just her fourth loss of the year.
GAME 2
- Another first inning RBI by Reames allowed for Hendrix to take the early 1-0 lead. G. Bryant soon followed two batters later with a two-RBI single back up the middle to put Hendrix up 3-0 in the first.
- Back-to-back RBI singles by Sewell and Mortan in the second and another fielder's choice by Reames and Hendrix enjoyed a 6-0 cushion not before Hunt carded her fifth long ball of the season and second of the day to put the Warriors up 7-0.
- After LC finally scored a run in the third, G. Bryant accounted for another RBI single after scoring Oglesby in the fifth to take a 8-1 lead.
- The Wildcats scored the final eight outs of the game including five in the seventh, capped off by a two-RBI double with two outs as LC won 9-8 for the sweep of Hendrix.
- G. Bryant recorded the only three-hit game after going 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs while Hunt went 2-for-3 with three runs and an RBI.
- Draud tossed a complete game on 114 pitches; struck out a pair of Wildcats in her outing.
- With the one-run loss, Hendrix has recorded its fourth one-run loss of the year in seven total losses.
