MEMPHIS, Tenn. - On Friday, Hendrix won its first-ever Southern Athletic Association championship tournament game while also accounting for its first-ever victory against Birmingham-Southern College but Rhodes scored 23 goals Saturday and ended the Warriors 2019 season in the semifinals of the 2019 SAA Championships after a 26-6 defeat from Memphis, Tenn.
Morgan Dasch and
Hannah Burroughs accounted for three goals apiece for Hendrix. With the loss, Hendrix's 2019 season has come to an end.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After Rhodes scored the games first eight goals, Burroughs struck for her first score of the day as Hendrix trailed 8-1 with 21 minutes left in the opening half.
- Two minutes later, Dasch carded her first goal as the Warriors trailed 9-2 with 19:15 left in the first half.
- Rhodes recorded an 11-0 run before Dasch and Burroughs tallied back-to-back scores as Hendrix trailed 20-4 with 18:22 to go in regulation.
- Rhodes scored six of the final eight goals in the game as the the Lynx recorded the 26-6 victory in the SAA semifinals Saturday.
OF NOTE:
- Dasch and Burroughs carded three scores apiece; both finishing with three points on the day.

Sophie Mazzaro picked up a team-best three ground balls Saturday; Dasch,
Calah Justice and
Alexis Truitt carded two each.
- Mazzaro,
Calah Justice and
JJ Tufu each recorded a caused turnover while Dasch and Burroughs each obtained three draw controls.
- Truitt logged 10 goals in all 60 minutes of work for Hendrix against Rhodes Saturday.
