CONWAY, Ark. - After splitting the day Saturday, Hendrix looked to take the first SAA series of the year in a showdown with Millsaps yet again. The Warriors held the 5-2 advantage through four innings but the Majors struck for a run in the fifth frame and six in the sixth as Millsaps defeated Hendrix, 9-8, to win the series. With the loss, the Warriors fall to 4-3 on the year and 1-2 in SAA play while Millsaps improves to 8-6 and 2-1 in SAA games. Jordan Mallard hammered her second home run in the sixth inning; a three-run shot to bring the Warriors within a run while Kourtney Lee saw her first collegiate start.
