CONWAY, Ark. - The Warriors defeated Ozarks (Ark.) and Austin (Texas) in a double dual meet Saturday inside Bob Courtway Pool as part of the 53rd annual Hendrix Classic. Hendrix defeated the Eagles 615-420 and 'Roos 608-308.

"I am happy the way we looked in the water this weekend," Hendrix head coach Tony Marleneanu said. "We were tired coming into this weekend, but we kept pushing and we did well. This is the first time this season racing the longer events like the 400 yard relays and 200 yard stroke. There were many best times or right on it. I am proud to see our athletes stepping up and getting our first wins of the season. On the other side, we still need to improve our turns and breakouts. It was an great weekend for us."

The Warriors travel to Division II Henderson State (Ark.) on Nov. 12 for a 6 p.m. CT start.
