CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix defeated Huntingdon (Ala.), 12-5, on Saturday. The Warriors have won three of the last four games in the series played at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

Alec Davis scored five goals on six shots on goal for Hendrix (1-1). Maximus LaMendola and Spencer Dorfneilsen each had two goals. Klaus Rowan, Brandon Barnes and Ezra Terry tallied one goal apiece.

LaMendola tied a school record with five assists. Rowan and Marshall Gregg each had one.

Dorfneilsen posted game-highs in shots on goal (8) and ground balls (10).

Michael DeCaro won six of 10 faceoffs for the Warriors.

Garrison Winter (1-1) made 14 saves between the pipes in the victory.

Five Huntingdon (0-1) players scored one goal. Caden Bacz ended with an assist.

Stephen Dan (0-1) came up with 19 saves in net in defeat.

Hendrix held an edge in shots (46-31), shots on goal (31-19) and ground balls (63-51).

The Warriors host Centenary (La.) on March 4 at 7 p.m. CT.
