CONWAY, Ark. - Southwestern (Texas) defeated Hendrix 19-6 in Saturday's season opener for both teams at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.

Ezra Terry scored three goals and tallied eight shots for Hendrix (0-1). Brandon Barnes, Alec Davis and Maximus LaMendola each scored one goal. 

Terry and Barnes recorded five shots on goal apiece. 

Patrick Dellinger came up with six ground balls for the Warriors.

Garrison Winter (0-1) made 16 saves in 60 minutes for Hendrix, which continues its four-game homestand to begin the season Feb. 24 when the Warriors entertain Centenary (La.) at 7 p.m. CT.
