CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix's Eleanor Burks won in straight sets in No. 1 singles Saturday despite her team's 8-1 dual match loss to Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) at Warrior Tennis Courts to conclude Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action this season.

Burks won for the fifth time this season on the one-line after defeating Alyssa Yager in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-2.

Kashti Shah won two games in the first set of No. 5 singles for Hendrix (1-13, 0-6 SAA).

Burks and Greer Ayers won four games in No. 1 doubles.

Birmingham-Southern (10-6, 2-3 SAA) won five singles matches in straight sets.

The Warriors and Panthers face off in a non-conference dual match Sunday at 9 a.m. CT inside Hatcher Tennis Center.
