Johnston (2-5) suffered the loss in the circle after surrendering 10 earned runs on nine hits with a strikeout in two innings.

In the fourth inning of game two, Frye hit another three-run home run to left, while Jackson recorded a two-run dinger to left.

Five Vikings had two hits apiece. Frye drove in five.

Meredith Holland (8-2) went the distance in the circle for the victory, allowing one earned run on six hits with two strikeouts and a walk.

Savannah Shaw batted 2-for-3 for Amy Weaver's bunch. K. Bryant, Mortan, Aubrey Lee and Brooke Lowry each had a single. K. Bryant drove in Hunt in the bottom of the first with two outs.

Hendrix and Rhodes (Tenn.) conclude the regular season April 17-18 with a four-game series at Warrior Softball Field. First pitch in each doubleheader is set for noon CT.

In order for the Warriors to clinch the No. 4-seed in the SAA Tournament, Hendrix must win the first three games of its series against the Lynx and have Centre (Ky.) lose two of its first three in a series at Berry during the same two-day span.
