BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Maximus LaMendola scored three goals for Hendrix on Saturday, but Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) scored the first four goals en route to a 21-7 win in Southern Athletic Association at General Krulak Stadium.

Austin Johnson and Carter Watkins each scored six goals for Birmingham-Southern (6-4, 2-2 SAA). Watkins also had two assists. Cameron Herd had two goals and four assists. Reid Harrison had three assists. Zac Venos picked up nine ground balls and won 10-of-15 faceoffs.

Luke Fajack (5-4) made 11 saves between the pipes in the first 48:43 for the triumph.

Klaus Rowan, Brandon Barnes, Ezra Terry and Max Lynch each scored a goal for Hendrix (4-3, 1-2 SAA). LaMendola picked up seven ground balls and caused five turnovers.

Garrison Winter (4-3) made five saves in 60 minutes between the pipes for the Warriors.

Each team registered 43 shots.

Hendrix hosts Centre (Ky.) on April 9 at 7 p.m. CT.
