CONWAY, Ark. - Jaydan Hunt recorded two triples for Hendrix on Saturday despite an 18-5 loss in five innings to No. 9 Birmingham-Southern (Ala.) in Southern Athletic Association action at Warrior Softball Field. 

Saydee Keith was 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Birmingham-Southern (23-3, 11-1 SAA). Annie Clayton drove in four runs, while Izzy Berkopec had three. Sam Hilyer scored three times.

Hailee Bryan (8-2) pitched a complete game for the win, allowing five earned runs on seven hits with a strikeout and walk.

Hunt and Aubrey Lee each went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of RBIs.

Five Hendrix (3-10, 1-8 SAA) players scored a run.

Hunt (1-2) suffered the loss in the circle, allowing six earned runs on eight hits with a walk in 2.2 innings of work.

Hendrix hosts No. 14 Berry (Ga.) April 10-11 for a four-game series. First pitch Saturday is set for noon CT.
