CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix is set to compete in the 11th annual Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Division II Southern Arkansas, on Friday. The 5k race begins at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Admission is free for spectators. The race is televised online through YouTube. Live results are available via MacDonald Timing.

Hendrix is scheduled to compete against nine schools - Central Arkansas, Jackson State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Division IIs Southern Arkansas, Arkansas-Monticello and LeMoyne-Owen (Tenn.), NAIA Wiley (Texas) and NJCAAs Jacksonville (Texas) and Arkansas Rich Mountain.

Hendrix is set to be represented by Victoria Ortega, Tali Ramirez, Rachel McGhee, Allana Sisco, Finley Lawrence, Sophie Sanders and Yaraseth Elorza.

In the Central Arkansas Cross Country Challenge on Sept. 11, Ortega finished 28th overall with a time of 21:57.9.

In the 2019 edition of the Lois Davis Invitational, Ortega placed 37th in a time of 21:03.1. Ramirez was 41st with a mark of 21:16.7.
