BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Hendrix sits in sixth place after the first day of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Swimming and Diving Championships held at Birmingham CrossPlex. The Warriors totaled 62 points.

Hendrix's 200 yard medley relay team of Sarah Linneman, Emma Sampson-Green, Trinity Dohoney and McKenzie Tucker placed sixth in a time of 1:55.52. The 800 yard freestyle relay team of Tucker, Marah Rice, Allyna Bright and Zoe Ryland took seventh in 8:44.66.

Thursday's preliminary heats start at 10 a.m. CT. The finals of those events begin at 6 p.m.
