BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Hendrix sits in fifth place after the second day of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships held at Birmingham CrossPlex. The Warriors have totaled 161 points.

Hendrix's Paxton Higgerson placed fourth in the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 21.11 seconds, while Heston Coon was 10th in 21.96 seconds. Oli Steven-Assheuer took fourth in the one meter diving competition after amassing 322.15 points on six dives.

The Warriors' 200 yard freestyle relay team of Higgerson, Coon, Andrew Huss and Derrick Pelletier finished third with a time of 1:25.29.

Saturday's finals of Friday's preliminary heats start at 10 a.m. CT. Saturday's preliminary heats begin at 6 p.m.
