SAINT LOUIS - Hendrix defeated Webster (Mo.), 7-2, on Friday at Vetta Sunset. 

Hendrix (1-2) won one doubles match when Emma Self and Avery Stephens defeated Emma Ferguson and Kylie Chitwood of Webster (3-3) on the two-line, 8-4.

The Warriors won all their singles matches, and Self, Eleanor Burks, Greer Ayers and Ayden Huckelbury won in straight sets. Self defeated Bailey Higgins in No. 3 singles, 6-2 and 6-0. Burks defeated Erin Brezovar in No. 1 singles, 7-5 and 6-0. Ayers took out Ferguson on the two-line, 6-2 and 7-5. Huckelbury downed Navone Armstrong in No. 6 singles, 6-3 and 7-6 (8-0).

Hendrix's McKenzie McCready defeated Chitwood in No. 4 singles, 7-5, 3-6 and 10-7. Stephens dropped Maddie Mena in No. 5 singles, 2-6, 6-2 and 10-3.

The Warriors travel to Principia (Ill.) on Saturday. First serve is set for 10 a.m. CT.
