BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Hendrix sits in fifth place after the third day of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships held at Birmingham CrossPlex. The Warriors have totaled 269 points.

Hendrix's Paxton Higgerson was third in the 100 yard butterfly in 49.89 seconds, while Zane Shaner was sixth in 52.06 seconds. Heston Coon was ninth in the 100 yard backstroke in 53.64 seconds. Spencer Quon took 10th in the 400 yard individual medley in 4:23.09. 

The Warriors' 400 yard medley relay team of Coon, Hudson Pace, Derrick Pelletier and Andrew Huss came in sixth in 3:39.55.

Sunday's finals start at 10 a.m. CT.
