CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix ran its overall win streak to 10 games following two victories Saturday over Sewanee (Tenn.) by scores of 8-1 and 6-2 in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action at Warrior Softball Field. The Warriors have won 29-straight games against the Tigers and are 16-0 at home during the stretch.Â

In game one,
Avery Colclaser,
Aubrey Lee and
Grace Bryant each had two hits in the win.
Peyton Nance drove in two. Lee scored twice.
Hailey Johnston (5-0) made the start in the circle and got the win, pitching six innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks.
Skyler Teague threw an inning of hitless relief and fanned two.
Sam Dean scored a run in defeat.
Michaela Walker (1-8) took the loss in the circle, allowing five runs, three earned, on six hits with two strikeouts in three innings.
In game two, Bryant batted 3-for-3 with a RBI and two runs scored.
Kelsey Sample made the start in the circle for Hendrix but took a no decision, allowing two earned runs on seven hits in three innings. Teague (4-0) got the win with four innings out of the bullpen, giving up just one hit.
Eight different Sewanee (2-13, 1-2 SAA) players had a hit.
Kendell Goodrum (1-2) took the loss in the circle, giving up two earned runs on six hits with two strikeouts in 3.1 innings.
