ATLANTA - Hendrix's
Lilah Biggers tallied career-highs in goals (7) and points (8) despite her team's 23-9 loss to Oglethorpe (Ga.) on Saturday in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) opener for both teams at Oglethorpe Field.
Ally Moir and Kaitlynn Alford each scored six goals for the Stormy Petrels. Sydney Trammell had four and Kendall White three.Â
Trammel tallied four assists and nine draw controls. Moir had 10 shots, including nine on frame.
Tori Perez (2-0) went the distance between the pipes and made nine saves for Oglethorpe (6-0, 1-0 SAA).
Biggers tied a career-high with 13 shots, with 11 on goal, both game-highs.
Lillian Sonner and
Sene Harness each scored a goal for the Warriors. Sonner also had two assists.
Brenna Kuenzi picked up a game-high five ground balls to go along with seven draw controls.
Alexis Williams (0-2) made 10 saves in 60 minutes in net for Hendrix (0-2).
The Warriors were 4-of-4 on clears.
Hendrix travels to Piedmont (Ga.)Â on Sunday for an 11 a.m. CT start.
