CONWAY, Ark. - Hendrix dropped the series opener against Millsaps (Miss.), 3-2, on Thursday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action. The Warriors fall to 7-3 at Warrior Softball Field.
Emily Cook and Ty Bergeron each had a RBI walk in the top of the first inning to give the Majors a two-run advantage. A Kat Reeves RBI single down the left field line proved to be the game-winner.
Hendrix (17-15, 7-9 SAA) battled back with two runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Kendyl Patton drove in Bryant after a single to right.
The Warriors threatened with runners on second and third and two outs in the seventh, but a fly out ended the comeback.
Molli Perry was 3-for-3 at the plate for Millsaps (16-20, 10-6 SAA), which wrapped up the No. 3 seed for the upcoming SAA Tournament.
Cassidy Thrash (7-4) pitched 6.2 innings for the Majors, allowing two earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts and a walk. Hannah Derouen (1) earned a save after inducing a fly out.
Andie Houser ended 3-for-3 at the plate for Hendrix. Bryant, Patton and
Betty Wolfe each had a hit. Naples drew a walk.
Hailey Johnston (8-5) went the distance in the circle for the fourth time this year, giving up three earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and four walks.
The Warriors conclude the series and regular season with a doubleheader Friday. First pitch in game one is 5 p.m. CT.
