MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Hendrix competed in the Rhodes (Tenn.) 7-Way Meet on Friday at Wolfe Track and Field Complex.

The Warriors' Madelyn Klinkerman won the discus after a throw of 42.22 meters, while Alivia Allen finished sixth with a mark of 39.35 meters. Klinkerman was third in the hammer with a toss of 45.25 meters. Allen was sixth in the shot put after a throw of 11.91 meters.

Klinkerman set new school records in the discus and hammer throws.

Hendrix's Victoria Ortega placed sixth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 13:18.55 and seventh in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:22.42. 

The Warriors take part in the Red Wolves Open, hosted by Arkansas State, on April 23 starting at 9 a.m. CT.
