MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Hendrix split a doubleheader with Rhodes on Saturday in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) action at Rhodes Softball Field. The Warriors won game one, 5-4, before falling in game two, 9-1 in five innings.
In game one,
Avery Colclaser batted 3-for-4 with a RBI for Hendrix (15-10, 7-4 SAA).
Betty Wolfe drove in two.
Skyler Teague (5-1) pitched seven innings of relief for the win, allowing one earned run on four hits.
Hannah Grace Roden was 2-for-3 at the plate with a RBI for Rhodes (10-16, 2-9 SAA).
Beth Fleming (5-5) pitched 3.1 innings out of the bullpen and took the loss, giving up one earned run on three hits with three strikeouts and a walk.
In game two, Cam Ferguson and Madison Bromley each had three hits for the Lynx. Bromley drove in four.
Madison Keller (2-5) went the distance in the circle for Rhodes, allowing one earned run on three hits with four strikeouts and a walk.
Grace Bryant,
Kelsey Sample and
Peyton Nance each batted 1-for-2 for the Warriors. Nance had a RBI. Bryant scored once.Â
Sample (2-3) suffered the loss in the circle, giving up four earned runs on seven hits with a strikeout in two innings.
